ANALISIS KAPASITAS TEKNIS DALAM MENDUKUNG KINERJA PENYULUH PADA PELAKSANAAN PENYULUHAN PERTANIAN DI KOTA KENDARI

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the technical capacity of agricultural extension workers in supporting their performance during the implementation of agricultural extension activities in Kendari City. The research was conducted from September to November 2024 in Kendari City. The study location was selected purposively, based on the consideration that the area is an urban setting with active agricultural extension services. The study population consisted of all 50 field agricultural extension workers in the research area, and the entire population was included in the sample (a census approach). Data analysis employed descriptive statistics using class intervals to describe the state of the extension workers' technical capacity in supporting their performance during agricultural extension activities. The results indicate that the technical capacity of the extension workers in supporting their performance during agricultural extension activities in the study area falls into the "moderate" category. While the agricultural extension workers in the study area possess technical capacity that supports their performance well, there is a need for improvement to elevate this capacity to an "excellent" level.
