The objective of this study is to analyze the role of the Green Women Farmers Group in utilizing yards in Anawai Village, Wua-Wua District, Kendari City. The research population consists of all 30 members of the Green Women Farmers Group. The sample was determined using the census method. The present study employed a quantitative approach. The data presented herein were collected through a variety of research methods, including surveys, in-depth interviews, and a meticulous review of relevant documentation. The research variables of interest were the role of farmer groups and the utilization of home gardens. The collected data were then subjected to analysis using quantitative descriptive methods. The findings indicated that the Green Women Farmers Group (KWT) in Anawai Village, Wua-Wua District, Kendari City, exhibited a high level of proficiency in the utilization of yards, particularly in its functions as a learning class, a conduit for cooperation, and a production unit. Conversely, the level of yard utilization by its members was found to be moderate, contingent on the diversity of commodities produced and the ensuing benefits obtained. A correlation analysis reveals a robust and statistically significant positive association between group role and yard utilization (r = 0.774; p < 0.05). This finding suggests that effective group function implementation is associated with enhanced yard management and productivity among its members. Women's farmer groups have been shown to make a significant contribution to enhancing the effectiveness of yard management and fostering more productive and sustainable use of local resources.
Arnisa Arnisa Musadar Mappasomba Putu Arimbawa Copyright (c) 2025 Jurnal Ilmiah Inovasi dan Komunikasi Pembangunan Pertanian https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2025-12-07 2025-12-07 5 1 1 14 10.56189/jiikpp.v5i1.79 POSISI KEBERLANJUTAN INDONESIA DALAM PENCAPAIAN SDGs PANGAN DAN PERTANIAN : ANALISIS RAP-SDGs DI ASIA TENGGARA http://jiikpp.uho.ac.id/index.php/journal/article/view/128
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) agenda emphasizes the integration of economic, social, and environmental dimensions in realizing a sustainable food and agricultural system. This study analyzes Indonesia's sustainability position compared to eleven Southeast Asian countries using the RAP-SDGs method based on Multidimensional Scaling (MDS). Secondary data from the FAO SDGs Database for the period 2019–2024 was used to compile a sustainability index, identify leverage indicators through leverage analysis, and evaluate outcome uncertainties through 100 iterations of Monte Carlo simulations. The results showed significant differences between countries, where only Indonesia, Thailand, Timor Leste, and Viet Nam reached the "moderately sustainable" category. Indonesia occupies the highest position overall, supported by the strongest ecological performance, while the economic dimension is the main weakness of the region. Leverage analysis revealed that the Agriculture Orientation Index is the largest lever in the economic dimension, access to land and resources is the main lever of the social dimension, and IUU fishing and environmental status conditions are the main determinants of the ecological dimension. Monte Carlo confirmed the consistency of the pattern, with Indonesia showing high resilience to the ecological dimension. These findings underscore the need to improve agricultural budget orientation, protect access to resources, and strengthen environmental policies to accelerate the achievement of SDGs 2030 in Indonesia and the region.

Varingan Prianando Tambunan Copyright (c) 2025 Jurnal Ilmiah Inovasi dan Komunikasi Pembangunan Pertanian https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2025-12-15 2025-12-15 5 1 15 27 10.56189/jiikpp.v5i1.128 KESEJAHTERAAN PETANI PADI SAWAH DI KAWASAN AMOHALO KELURAHAN BARUGA KECAMATAN BARUGA KOTA KENDARI http://jiikpp.uho.ac.id/index.php/journal/article/view/67
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the condition of rice farmers living in Baruga Village, Baruga District, Kendari City. The problem observed is the imbalance between the region's status as a rice production center and the inconsistent and fluctuating level of farmer welfare. Although Baruga Village has approximately 450 hectares of agricultural land and makes a significant contribution to rice cultivation in Kendari City, farmers' income remains uncertain each harvest season. This uncertainty negatively impacts their overall welfare. The welfare of these farmers is also measured by the Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP), which evaluates the gap between the income earned by farmers from their harvest and the costs incurred for production. An NTP value below 100 indicates that farmers are experiencing losses or decreased purchasing power, thus causing a decline in their welfare. The research findings show that most farmers in Baruga Village are included in the prosperous category. Farmers of productive age, with extensive farming experience, and supporting larger families often exhibit increased motivation and a sense of responsibility, which positively impacts their income and overall well-being. This study emphasizes the need for governments and policymakers to focus more on farmer characteristics when developing empowerment initiatives aimed at improving farmer welfare in rice-producing regions.
Vera Faradillah Musadar Mappasomba Salahuddin Salahuddin Copyright (c) 2025 Jurnal Ilmiah Inovasi dan Komunikasi Pembangunan Pertanian https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2025-12-28 2025-12-28 5 1 28 37 10.56189/jiikpp.v5i1.67 PERAN PLATFORM DIGITAL DALAM PENINGKATAN PARTISIPASI PETANI PADI SAWAH DI DESA BOU KECAMATAN LAMBANDIA KABUPATEN KOLAKA TIMUR http://jiikpp.uho.ac.id/index.php/journal/article/view/131
Fluctuations and declines in rice production, particularly in East Kolaka Regency, reflect structural problems in the production system related to farmers' limited access to information and technology. Therefore, the use of digital platforms has the potential to become a strategic instrument for increasing the participation of rice farmers, especially at the village level, such as in Bou Village. The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of digital platforms in increasing the participation of rice farmers in Bou Village, Lambandia District, East Kolaka Regency. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Research informants were determined using purposive sampling techniques with specific criteria. There were 13 informants. Data collection was carried out in a natural setting by applying observation techniques, in-depth interviews, documentation, and literature studies. This study focused on three main aspects, namely the types of digital platforms used by farmers, the role of digital platforms, and the level of participation of rice farmers. Data analysis was performed using qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of the study indicate that digital platforms play a strategic role in increasing the participation of rice farmers in Bou Village, Lambandia District, East Kolaka Regency. Facebook, YouTube, and WhatsApp form a complementary digital learning and communication ecosystem, enabling farmers to be more actively involved in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of farming activities. These platforms not only serve as sources of information but also strengthen social interaction, non-formal learning, and the sustainability of agricultural practices through intensive and responsive communication. The integration of information, relationships, and sustainability functions encourages a shift in farmers' participation patterns from passive to participatory and collaborative based on digital technology. This study on agricultural development communication emphasizes the importance of cross-platform integration in shaping farmer participation. Additionally, it highlights the need for contextual, adaptive, and farmer-needs-oriented extension strategies and agricultural digitization policies at the local level.
Widya Febiola Andriani Putri Iskandar Zainuddin Rela Megafirmawanti Lasinta Copyright (c) 2025 Jurnal Ilmiah Inovasi dan Komunikasi Pembangunan Pertanian https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2026-01-02 2026-01-02 5 1 38 52 10.56189/jiikpp.v5i1.131 KETAHANAN PANGAN BERBASIS DIVERSIFIKASI PANGAN UNTUK KEBERLANJUTAN EKONOMI: ANALISIS BIBLIOMETRIK http://jiikpp.uho.ac.id/index.php/journal/article/view/130
Food security is a strategic global issue directly linked to human basic needs, social stability, and national economic sustainability. As an agrarian country, Indonesia faces major challenges due to its heavy dependence on rice as a staple food, which increases the vulnerability of the national food system. Food diversification has therefore become a key strategy to strengthen food security and economic sustainability by utilizing local food resources such as cassava, corn, sago, and tubers. This study employs a quantitative bibliometric analysis approach to map the development of research on food diversification and food security in Indonesia during the 2010–2024 period. Data were collected from Google Scholar, limited to relevant scientific articles indexed in SINTA, then exported in RIS format, curated using Mendeley, and analyzed through VOSviewer 1.6.20. The analysis covered publication trends, author collaboration networks, keyword co-occurrence, and thematic relationships. The results show a significant increase in publication output and citation performance over the past three decades, with an average of 11.35 citations per article and an H-index of 63, indicating a strong academic influence in this research domain. Keyword network visualization reveals that the most frequently studied themes include household food security, consumption diversification, local food innovation, and agricultural development strategies. Overall, this study demonstrates that research on food security based on food diversification in Indonesia is multidisciplinary and increasingly application-oriented, highlighting its growing role in strengthening local economies and informing sustainable food policy formulationl.
Muhamad Abien Pratama Dzikri Adiathoriq Artika Sari Devi Dewi Rohma Wati Copyright (c) 2025 Jurnal Ilmiah Inovasi dan Komunikasi Pembangunan Pertanian https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2026-01-03 2026-01-03 5 1 53 62 10.56189/jiikpp.v5i1.130 SALURAN KOMUNIKASI PENYULUHAN DALAM MENINGKATKAN PENGETAHUAN PETANI KOPI DI DESA ATAKU KECAMATAN ANDOOLO KABUPATEN KONAWE SELATAN http://jiikpp.uho.ac.id/index.php/journal/article/view/134
Agricultural extension plays a strategic role in empowering coffee farmers in Ataku Village, South Konawe Regency, through effective communication to improve their knowledge, skills, and productivity in coffee farming, which is still low despite its great potential. This study aims to determine the channels of agricultural extension communication in improving the knowledge of coffee farmers in Ataku Village, Andoolo District, South Konawe Regency. This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive survey method that aims to systematically describe the extension communication channels and the level of knowledge of coffee farmers. The research population consists of all 150 coffee farmers in Ataku Village. The research sample was determined using simple random sampling, with the research sample set at 20% of the total population, or 30 people. The research variables included extension communication channels and coffee farmers' knowledge. The data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that agricultural extension communication channels played an important role in increasing the knowledge of coffee farmers in Ataku Village, Andoolo District, South Konawe Regency. Mass communication through a group approach was the most dominant channel, with print media (especially extension brochures) being the most effective medium because it was easy to understand and could be used as a continuous reference. Audiovisual media served as a complement that helped visualize technical information and encourage discussion, although its use was still relatively limited. The impact of using these communication channels is reflected in the change in farmers' knowledge, which is in the moderate category, with a high level of understanding, but the ability to apply and integrate knowledge in farming practices is still not optimal. The effectiveness of extension communication needs to be strengthened through media synergy and continuous assistance so that increased knowledge can encourage the application of coffee farming innovations more effectively and sustainably.
Sunan Aji Wibowo Ima Astuty Wunawarsih Megafirmawanti Lasinta Copyright (c) 2025 Jurnal Ilmiah Inovasi dan Komunikasi Pembangunan Pertanian https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2026-01-08 2026-01-08 5 1 63 72 10.56189/jiikpp.v5i1.134 PRINSIP KOMUNIKASI PEMBANGUNAN DALAM PENGELOLAAN SAMPAH BERKELANJUTAN (STUDI KASUS: BANK SAMPAH INDUK RUMAH HARAPAN UMAT, DEPOK) http://jiikpp.uho.ac.id/index.php/journal/article/view/132
The waste problem in urban areas demands a sustainable management strategy that involves active community involvement. One emerging approach is community-based waste management through the existence of a waste bank. This study aims to analyze the application of development communication principles in supporting sustainable waste management at the Main Waste Bank (BSI) of Rumah Harapan Umat (Rumah Harum), Depok City. This study focuses on five main principles: sustainability, community participation, collaboration, two-way dialogue and communication, and empowerment. The study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies of waste management activities at BSI Rumah Harum. Data analysis focused on how development communication strategies were designed and implemented to encourage changes in community behavior in waste management. The results show that BSI Rumah Harum applies sustainability principles through circular economy education that adds value to waste. The principle of community participation is realized through active community involvement in waste sorting from the source, while the principle of collaboration is reflected in the synergy between BSI, local governments, and the private sector. In addition, the principle of dialogue and two-way communication is implemented through regular forums and the use of social media as a means of conveying customer aspirations. Meanwhile, the principle of empowerment is evident in the increased economic capacity and independence of communities through a waste savings system. This study concludes that the integration of these five development communication principles is a key factor in building a sustainable urban waste management ecosystem as a agen of changes.
Sri Lindawati Salwa Lila Vahista Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Ilmiah Inovasi dan Komunikasi Pembangunan Pertanian https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 2026-01-13 2026-01-13 5 1 73 82 10.56189/jiikpp.v5i1.132 INOVASI PENGENDALIAN HAMA TIKUS MENGGUNAKAN PUKAT ANTI TIKUS PADA TANAMAN PADI SAWAH DI KELURAHAN SENDANG MULYA SARI KECAMATAN TONGAUNA KABUPATEN KONAWE http://jiikpp.uho.ac.id/index.php/journal/article/view/136
Rats have been identified as a significant threat to rice productivity in Indonesia, including in Sendang Mulya Sari Village in the Tongauna Subdistrict of Konawe Regency, a region that is a major producer of rice.
